The San Mateo County Community College District has created a comprehensive health and safety plan for employees working on our campuses and the District Office. These plans are based on the latest health and safety guidance from the CDC and San Mateo County Health. The plan includes guidelines and procedures for the following:
- Personal Protection Equipment
- Social distancing
- Health Screenings
- Physical Access
This health and safety plan is continuously updated based on latest advice from CDC and San Mateo County Health.

The District has developed detailed procedures for handling any confirmed COVID-19 cases or exposures on the college campuses or at the District Office. Those procedures are detailed in the slide deck below.
All reports of possible COVID-19 exposures on District property are investigated by the District Health Branch director. In cases where it is determined anyone needs to be quarantined or isolated due to CDC/County Health guidelines, those individuals are alerted immediately and it is documented on this website.
